As a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), all sessions are conducted with respect, and client privacy is strictly maintained.
Open communication is encouraged to ensure a safe, comfortable, and effective treatment. Feedback for adjustments to pressure, techniques, or positioning, comfort, safety are always welcomed.
The therapist is dedicated to maintaining a safe, clean, and neutral-odor treatment space. All surfaces, equipment, and linens are sanitized between sessions, ensuring a professional and hygienic environment that promotes client comfort and well-being.
The practitioner reserves the right to refuse service or reschedule appointments if a client arrives under the influences, engages in inappropriate behavior, or has a condition that makes massage unsafe.
Massage therapy supports well-being but is not a substitute for medical care. With an undiagnosed injury, or a condition beyond the scope of practice, the client is highly suggested for other qualified healthcare professionals.
Clients with more than three no-shows will lose booking privileges at Relink Bodyworks.
Clients should arrive 5 mins priorly to their appointment.
Clients are expected to conduct themselves respectfully at all times. Any inappropriate behavior, language, or requests will result in the immediate termination of the session.
The use of drugs or recreational substances before a session is strictly discouraged. If a client appears impaired, the practitioner reserves the right to reschedule or refuse service. Additionally, any prescribed medications that may affect the session must be disclosed during the initial intake.
Clients are expected to arrive clean and free of strong odors. If you are experiencing illness, contagious skin conditions, or other health concerns, please inform your therapist in advance to determine whether massage is appropriate. In such cases, your session may be credited and rescheduled at the therapist’s discretion.
Open communication is encouraged. Clients should provide accurate health history, disclose medical conditions or injuries, and communicate any discomfort during the session.
Massage therapy is a professional service, and any violation of boundaries will result in termination of the session and refusal of future appointments.
At Relink Bodyworks, we use a unit-based system to determine session length, treatment planning & pricing. This system is widely used in clinical and insurance settings to standardize therapeutic care . Each unit represents 15 minutes of hands-on therapeutic massage. Treatment time and cost are based on the complexity of your condition and the number of units needed.
How Are Units Determined?
Your unit count is based on:
Treatment complexity
Number of areas involved
Your health goals
Insurance coverage (if applicable)
During your intake or consultation, we’ll discuss your symptoms and goals. From there, we determine how many units are appropriate for your session. For example:
A desk worker with chronic neck and shoulder tightness may benefit from 3–4 units.
An elderly recovering from a leg injury may require 2 units focused on a specific area.
Need more time? Additional units (beyond 4) can be added by request or clinical recommendation—especially for complex or chronic conditions.
Here’s a clear and professional explanation of our treatment procedure for client communication
